Domaine Jean-Jacques Confuron Chambolle-Musigny 2001

Rich but green, Domaine Jean-Jacques Confuron Chambolle-Musigny 2001 (Chambolle-Musigny, Burgundy) is light brick showing pre-mature aging (heat damage?), displaying earthy/steely aromas with strong blue/black berries and a tinge of green stem. Light bodied with faint tanins, slightly green fruit, it has some complexity on the palate and a rich finish. Drink now + 5 years. Score 13/20. Hogi Hyun, 7 Oct 2005.
