Chateau Le Bon Pasteur 2001

Earthy & profound, Chateau Le Bon Pasteur 2001 (Pomerol, Bordeaux) is dark ruby, displaying strong aromas of oak, musk, leather, coffee and dried Indian spice. It is dense and concentrated, with a meaty/earthy palate, closed fruit, dry wood tanins and a long, profound finish. Far too young, great potential, retaste in 5 years. Score 14/20P.
