Dame de Montrose 2001

Hinting at elegance, the Dame de Montrose 2001 (Saint-estephe, Bordeaux) is deep ruby and purple at the edge, exhibiting complex waxy aromas of smokey oak and sweet cassis, with a well structured full body, good firm tanins, dormant fruit and a masculin and tanic finish. Re-taste in 5 years. Score 14/20. Hogi Hyun, 14 May 2005.
