Chateau Pavie-Macquin 1997

Balanced and plummy, Chateau Pavie-Macquin 1997 (Saint-emilion, Bordeaux) is dark ruby/brick, exhibiting concentrated waxy plum aromas, followed on the palate with a good attack and balance, melted tanins, sweet fruit but a disappointingly short finish. Drink now + 5 years. Score 14/20. Hogi Hyun, 20 May 2005.
