Chateau Lanessan 2000

Over-ripe and musky, the Chateau Lanessan 2000 (Haut-Medoc, Bordeaux) is deep ruby and purple at the edge, very extracted, with quickly fading aromas of musk, composte, leather and spice, a heavy palate, dry wood tanins, faint over-ripe fruit, slightly sour with lingering tanins on the finish. Avoid. Score 12/20. Hogi Hyun, 10 May 2005.
