Light and fruity, Chateau Baret (rouge) 1999 (Pessac-Leognan, Bordeaux) is medium ruby with a purple tinge, displaying waxy aromas of smoke and sweet cassis, light bodied with soft tanins, fresh red fruit and a light short finish. Extremely drinkable, dinrk now. Score 14/20. Hogi Hyun, 15 May 2005.
