Chateau Leoville Barton 2001

Concentrated and rich, Chateau Leoville Barton 2001 (Saint Julien, Bordeaux) is dark ruby, with a slight nose of sweet ripe cassis and musk, lots of concentrated fruits, oak and smoke on the palate and dry woody tanins followed by a long finish. Still young, re-taste in 5 years. Score 15/20. Hogi Hyun 7 Mar 2005.
