Chateau Gand Mayne 1998

Ripe and smooth, the Chateau Gand Mayne 1998 (Saint-Emilion, Bordeaux) is deep ruby, displaying delicious waxy aromas of sweet cassis and cherry mingled with leather and toasted oak. Light on the palate, with concentrated ripe fruit and melted tanins, good balance and a round, fruit-filled finish. Re-taste in 3 years. Score 16/20. Hogi Hyun, 26 Feb 2005.
