Chateau Branaire (Duluc-Ducru) 2001

Concentrated aromas but diluted palate, the Chateau Branaire (Duluc-Ducru) 2001 (Saint-Julien, Bordeaux) is deep purple, displaying concentrated aromas of cassis, meat, leather and smoky oak, followed by a disappointing light body, diluted fruit and light tanins on the finish. Re-taste in 5 years. Score 13/20. Hogi Hyun, 25 Feb 2005.
