Chateau Pontet-Canet 1996

Rich and musty, the deep ruby Chateau Pontet-Canet 1996 (Pauillac, Bordeaux) projects aromas of branyard, must, toasted oak, spice and a hint of cassis, followed by an intense palate of concentrated red fruits, firm tanins and a long, dry, perky finish.
