Chateau Grand-Puy-Lacoste 1997

With a fine nose but disappointing palate, Chateau Grand-Puy-Lacoste 1997 (Pauillac, Bordeaux) is medium ruby and clear with strong aromas of leather and oak, but a sad palate of shallow fruit and slightly bitter tanins that trail on the finish. Drink now. Score 14/20. Hogi Hyun, 22 Jan 2005.
